All YouTube Ethiopian comedy in one website?

As the Internet evolved to what it is now video became a thing of high interest for the online community. Google bought You tube for the fact that it was drawing massive traffic because of the videos that were uploaded there. So right now we can search a video in whatever category we imagined and we will find it uploaded on You Tube or other video sites for the simple reason that videos attract huge traffic.

Though tens of thousands of Ethiopian YouTube comedy videos are available it is pretty hard to go through all the list and get that is of good quality. We all want to be entertained and laugh as much we can often. So we go to YouTube and type "Ethiopian comedy". We get so many videos listed. Most of the videos would have been there for years so we start to look for new videos. There are few things we should know here. If we don't understand how YouTube and other search engines work our search for what we want will be tiresome. I will mention some basics of how we should search for new Ethiopian comedy videos on YouTube.

• Know description and tags given to uploaded videos determine availability and category.

When people upload videos on YouTube they will be asked for a video description and tags. The description and tags they write are the basic factors help YouTube categorizes the video. If you upload a comedy video and give it a football description and tags, the video will be categorized under "football" videos. This is the one of the reason we find unrelated videos while we search for Ethiopian comedy videos. Someone will upload Eritrean video and will give it Ethiopian description and tags, so you find it listed in "Ethiopian video" searches.

• Know that competition matters on which page the video will be available.

When you type a word or phrase on YouTube and do a search you will get list of (10-15) videos on the first page. But the list goes on as you go to the next page. that is what competition means on the search engines. The videos on the first 1-3 pages usually get the most view. So many other videos compete to be on the first page and most people will not bother to go through all the pages and search videos.

• Know that the videos on YouTube are so much mixed up with so many other videos.

I often go to YouTube to watch a given video and will usually find it but i couldn't deny the hard work of filtering other unwanted videos. You will see a video with the title you are searching for but when you click it, it is one of those rubbish junk. So i suggest that someone has to get up and do the hard work of compiling Ethiopian comedy videos. There are many Ethiopian related websites these days and many of them will in some way use Ethiopian videos. That is a good beginning, but i would say there should be some more work. could someone select handful very funny Ethiopian comedy videos and post them on a blog? That would greatly minimize the trouble of going to YouTube and do a lengthy search to get one video that would make us laugh.

• Know that there is a money making opportunity using YouTube videos.

What money? Yeah, if you go to any website and see ads, that web-master is involved in money making activities. Have you ever clicked on ads you see on a website? Well we all have done it and cheers that website owner made money from the click. So if you spend some time to search for good quality Ethiopian comedy video ( any other video for that matter), and post them on your own blog, don't you think people would love that? They will definitely like that. They will come to your blog again and again for new videos. As visitors to your blog increase your chance of making some money will grow too.

Once you discover the possibility of making some money from the Internet your desire to know more will increase. You start to dig for more info. Who knows if you will be one of the the guys who became rich by making money from the Internet? It is a possibility guys!

Thanks guys for participating on the poll that asks if you think Ethiopian videos on YouTube are illegal. It is obvious there is a problem, but what could be the solution? If we are serious about copyright issues we have to have a clear understanding of how it works.

What is a copyright?

As stated on wikipedia.org; "A copyright is a set of exclusive rights granted by a state to the creator of an original work or their assignees for a limited period of time upon disclosure of the work. This includes the right to copy, distribute and adapt the work".....read the whole article here

So i would say there are issues that should be tackled first than label every material we see on YouTube as "Illegal". The clear terms of use from YouTube is Not to upload a copyrighted material. If anybody does that, then the copyright owner has all the right to complain to YouTube and even go to the court for legal battles. If most Ethiopian comedy, drama, music, so on videos are illegally uploaded, then the copyright owner should have raised the issue to YouTube, for which if found to be true, YouTube will ban the person who uploaded the videos.

As of Ethiopian videos on YouTube, i think no copyright owner is complaining...and we all feel OK to go to YouTube to watch full length videos. Why wouldn't the copyright owner complain? Is the work copyrighted at all? I don't really know.
