How to do a Good car wash

It may be a weekend or you just got a day off and you want to give your car a good car wash. You will be amazed how your car got dirty inside-out. A good car wash is like a bath, there is a lot of soaping, wiping and rinsing work. As we don't wear perfumes on our dirty bodies it is the same with our cars, deodorizers and good smelling sprays are no good on a dirty car. Your car really needs a good wash.

How could you give your car a good wash? Read on…

1. Rinsing the car
You rinse your car at the beginning to make it wet and loosen some sticky dirt. Thoroughly rinse the car and a lot of dirt will be softened and get away with the water. A hose is an ideal item in rinsing your car. A highly pressurized water from a hose is not advised because the excessive pressure of water may be a cause of scratches. Better let the water flow freely from a hose that have a nozzle. You will need to rinse your car at the end too just to remove the detergent foam and for the last round clean-up.

2. Which detergent?
Any soap or detergent is not suitable for cars. If you use dish washing detergents it may cause some serious problem on the painting of the car. So cars have their own detergents and you have to go and find the appropriate one for your car.

3. Mix detergent as the owner's manual.
Use car detergents according the instructions of the owner's manual. They will tell how many percent should be mixed with water and if there is a need to use protective devices for our hands too.Just use a sponge to soap your car with the detergent solution.

These ideas may be helpful in washing the car:-

• You better consider using a large amount of water for the whole processes. 3-4 buckets of water may be used for a small car.
• Organize your washing. If you start at the top then rinsing will be relatively easier. Start at the roof, then the doors and other parts will follow. A film will develop on the car's surface if you don't rinse it after soaping. The soap will dry and make an ugly stain.
• After soaping all the sections you have to wash or rinse the entire body. All the soap has to be washed away and that is why a generous amount of water is needed.
• If you’re not satisfied with the first wash, then do it the second time around.
